Built between the 4th and 6th centuries, it is one of the city's large covered cisterns, with more than 200 columns. Today it hosts exhibitions and events, a few minutes' walk from Sultanahmet Square.
Tip
A good alternative if you want to avoid the crowds at the Basilica Cistern.
